AKT Examination Information

 
The AKT exam is three hours long, containing a total of 200 multiple choice questions.
 
It is delivered by using computer terminals in one of 150 Pearson Vue testing centres around the UK.                                                  
                                                                           
The 200 questions are broken down into approximately
  • 80% clinical medicine
  • 10% critical appraisal and evidence based clinical practice
  • 10% health informatics and administrative issues
